The Family Center staff provides family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, life skills, and family preservation services, as required by the situation. In addition to general psychotherapy services, The Family Center staff specializes extensively in areas of trauma, sexual abuse, family violence, parent-child conflicts, high conflict custody, and mental health issues, such as mood disorders, PTSD, and anxiety.

Our Center is currently, and has been for the last twenty five years, a primary treatment provider for child welfare core services in both El Paso and Teller Counties and holds contracts with several other Colorado counties. We receive referrals from numerous other organizations involved with the child welfare system, including The Office of the Guardian Ad Litem, El Paso County District Courts, The District Attorney, El Paso County Probation, TESSA, Safe Passage, and The Department of Youth Corrections. We provide training for many of these organizations on a regular basis.

The Family Center also serves many families who are not involved with the child welfare system, but who seek guidance on everything from mood disorders to couples therapy to personal development.
